TIME is running out to honour the hard work of Southport’s fantastic hospital staff and volunteers. Nominations for the showpiece Pride Awards ceremony, which takes place at Southport Convention Centre next year, close on Friday, December 3.
All Southport and Ormskirk NHS staff and volunteers are eligible for the awards, which shine a light on the Trust’s unsung heroes.
They can be nominated by other members of staff or by the public.
The Patient Award gives patients and relatives the chance to nominate those who go that extra mile to offer outstanding service to patients and visitors.
Other categories include Team of the Year, Unsung Hero, Service Transformation/Innovation, Inspirational Role Model and Pennies and Pounds.
Trust chairman Sir Ron Watson said: “The NHS is built on the dedication and commitment of its staff.
“The Pride Awards are an opportunity to say thank you to all those people at Southport and Ormskirk hospitals who keep us well.”
Nominations can come from patients or relatives but must be received by December 3.
