Liverpool Community Health NHS Trust re-branding

 As healthcare and the NHS become more commercial, it is essential that patients are able to recognise services. As Liverpool Community Health NHS Trust deliver a wide range of services across Merseyside, the Trust are working with Sefton, Liverpool and Knowsley LINk’s to help re-brand themselves as a much more recognisable service provider - the brand should represent what LCH can offer to staff, patients and public alike.

Liverpool Community Health NHS Trust (LCH) is at the heart of the delivery of healthcare within the communities of Liverpool and Sefton and delivers services in Knowsley and neighbouring Merseyside. They have a team of around 3400 staff - 80 percent of whom are practising health professionals including Nurses, Community Matrons, Health Visitors, GPs, Dentists, Dieticians, Podiatrists, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Speech and Language Therapists.

The Trust delivers community health services to people in their own homes, in over 100 locations including health centres and clinics, 5 Walk-in Centres, the Kent Lodge intermediate care centre and 10 GP practices. Services enable people to be cared for in their own community and remain as independent as possible, rather than having to go to hospital.  Many of these services are delivered out-of-hours, with 24 hour, 7 day a week access. Liverpool Community Health become an NHS Trust on 1st November 2010.

On the 1st of April 2011 Liverpool Community Health NHS Trust acquired community services for the majority of Sefton.

As healthcare and the NHS become more commercial it is essential that patients are able to easily recognise our services.  The brand should represent what LCH can offer to staff, patients and public alike.

It is important that we engage with the general public across Liverpool, Sefton and Knowsley to take their views on board and give them to opportunity to help shape the future branding of LCH.  This feedback and brand development will help us to achieve our ambition of becoming a Community Foundation Trust and subsequent recruitment of members.

We require 10 members of the public (with a mix of ages/demographics) for each focus group.  Focus groups are to be run by an external branding agency called Kenyon Fraser with support from LCH staff and will include demonstration/discussion of a variety of ideas, graphics etc.  There will be 2 focus group sessions and they are arranged for;

Wednesday 30th November
9.30-10.30am and 11am-12.
 Burlington House, Crosby Road North, L22 0QB

Members will only be required to attend one of the sessions and travel expenses will be paid by Liverpool Community Health NHS Trust.

If you would like to attend one of the focus groups please contact Diane Blair on 0151 920 0726 (extension 331) or via diane.blair@seftoncvs.org.uk to book onto one of the events, indicating whether you will need help with transport to get to the event.

  2. Podiatrist in Liverpool is the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of foot and lower limb disorders, many of which are caused by general health disorders. You will use comprehensive assessment and diagnostic skills to develop patient care pathways for conditions which impact on people's quality of life.
