MS Society - Physiotherapy Service and Counselling Service

The Multiple Sclerosis Society, in partnership with NHS Sefton, provides a physiotherapy service offering advice, assessment and treatment for people with MS in this area. In addition to the pysiotherapy service, the MS Society are pleased to announce the launch of a counselling service available to people affected by MS.

The physiotherapist will work with you in a friendly manner to help you reach your goals, through sessions that are tailored to your needs. Carers can also get help and advice in moving and handling and managing day to day activities.


The NHS Sefton Clinical Psychology service offers a friendly one to one chat on issues that are affecting your life, that might or might not be MS related. It is open to all people with MS and their carers and families.
