 National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) are pleased to annoucne that information and application forms of eight forthcoming clinical guideline development groups are now on the NICE website at the following link - http://www.nice.org.uk/getinvolved/joinnwc/join_a_nice_committee_or_working_group.jsp

·         The closing date for Acute Kidney Injury (formerly known as acute renal failure) Guideline Development Group is 14^th June 2011, no later than 5 pm.

·         The closing date for Guideline Development Group for Urinary Incontinence is 29^th June 2011, no later than 5 pm.

·         The closing date for DySIS System Diagnostics Advisory Committee is 30^th June 2011, no later than 5 pm.

·         The closing date for IV fluids therapy Guideline Development Group is 1^st July, no later than 5 pm.

·         The closing date for Hepatitis B Guideline Development Group is 1^st July, no later than 5 pm

·         The closing date for The management of myocardial infarction with ST-segment elevation Guideline Development Group is 1^st July, no later than 5 pm

·         The closing date for Sickle cell acute painful episode Guideline Development Group is 4^th July, no later than 5 pm. 

·         The closing date for Become a patient member of the group looking at the management of varicose veins is 7^th July, no later than 5 pm. 

·         The closing date for Ulcerative Colitis Guideline and Quality Standard Development Group is 8^th July, no later than 5 pm. 

NICE greatly values the input of patient/carer members - who may be individuals with direct experience of the disease or condition, their carers, and/or employees of patient-support organisations - to its guideline development groups and committees.
