HealthWatch

 HealthWatch will be established as a new independent consumer champion.

Its aim will be to achieve the systems described in the Government’s NHS white paper. The white paper describes a system where:
  • patients are at the heart of everything the NHS does
  • health care outcomes in England are among the best in the world
  • clinicians are empowered to deliver results
We are currently working with the Department of Health to design HealthWatch.
Throughout 2011, we will set up the structures and systems needed for the launch on 1 April 2012.

Get involved

We will soon create an online forum for anyone interested in helping to develop HealthWatch.
To register your interest in becoming a member of the CQC HealthWatch online forum, please email enquiries.healthwatch@cqc.org.uk. You will receive an email once the online forum has been set up, which will ask you to register as part of the group.
