‘Big Society’ Big Debate is a FREE day of informal training taking place on Saturday 11^th December.

Thanks to funding provided by Take Part those who participate in the day will each receive a £10 High Street Voucher (which are acceptable in loads of high street shops, and just in time for Christmas!). We’ll also provide lunch and refund your travel costs (public transport).

The training is for 15-25 year olds who live in Sefton and covers:

·         Introduction to the ‘Big Society’ and what it means to you

·         Introduction to Debating

·          Key Skills for Debating

·         Guest speakers with experience of debating to make their views heard

The event will culminate in the participants having the chance to debate youth-related issues in Bootle Town Hall Debating Chamber.
