NHS Sefton's "Have your say on the NHS White Paper"

The White Paper “Equity and Excellence: Liberating the NHS” was published in July 2010. This government paper sets out the future of healthcare in England . It signals greater control for GPs and the reform of current healthcare systems.

There are four consultations that go with the White Paper that will help finalise the government’s proposals.
 These are called:

Commissioning for patients

Local democratic legitimacy in health

Transparency in outcomes

Regulating healthcare providers

NHS Sefton, working with Sefton Council, is gathering views from NHS employees, other organisations in Sefton and members of the public about each of these consultations. We would like you to have your say.

All responses we receive will be sent to the Department of Health (DoH) with a summary of the themes identified.

Tell us what you think

Online

NHs Sefton's online White Paper forum is live from 7 - 27 September 2010.
